Visitors

We are always very pleased to welcome visitors to our place.  We believe having visitors is very important so we can share our philosophy, knowledge and high quality early childhood education service with you and the community.

Our Place Tours

To place your child’s name on the waiting list we ask you to book into our weekly  “Our Place Tours”.

During the tour you will have the opportunity to look around the preschool, meet with one of our educators and discuss the preschool’s philosophy and operation. After the tour you will be invited to complete a waiting list application and pay a non refundable waiting list fee to our Book Keeper.  You will need to bring your credit card or EFTPOS card for this payment as the preschool does not accept cash or cheques.

Our discussions are held in our staff room with a number of families and we appreciate your support in supervising your children if they will be attending the tour with you.

Our tours are held weekly on  Tuesday at 10am, so please phone us on 02 9528 5003 or email the preschool thepointpres@bigpond.com for available dates.

Tours and other visits

We enjoy having groups and individuals visit our place. The Director will provide you with a tour of the preschool and discuss our philosophy, curriculum and practices and be available to answer questions.

As we are a small preschool we ask you to pre-arrange your visit so we can tell the children and their parents.   This also ensures our children are not overwhelmed by the number of visitors.  We do ask groups and individuals for a donation when visiting. Please call us on 0528 5003 to discuss enrolment and visiting procedures.

A message from the children

Dear Visitors,

Hello and welcome to The Point Preschool.  This is our place.

We look after everything - the plants and the animals and each other.  We do this so everything is nice and to save the world.

We want you to be happy at our place so please talk to us.  We’ll tell you about peace and how to protect the environment.

We will show you our frog pond, our veggie patch, our possum box, lorikeet box, fairy garden, the bush tucker garden and our playground.

From the Children of the Cockatoos and the Rosellas.
